Hilary has been intrepidly traveling the world since her teens when she started exploring North America and Europe. Her love affair with Africa began on a solo trip to Morocco while a college student, followed by a first safari in South Africa. Globetrotting has since been a natural way of life, and her passport is colorfully decorated with stamps form well over 40 countries and counting, with all seven continents already under her belt. She had stints living in England, France, and China. She now prefers vast and pristine wilderness, ancient cultures, and truly off-the-beaten path destinations that can match her unquenchable curiosity, active spirit, and fascination with wildlife. She has also completed Asilia Academy, an accreditation given only to East African specialists. Her favorite safari memories include mountain biking elephant trails in the remote corners of Hwange National Park - Zimbabwe, coming nose-to-nose with great white sharks cage diving off the coast of South Africa, receiving blessings from a priest within a cliff strewn church in Tigre - Ethiopia, feeling the squeeze of a baby gorilla hand on her leg in Uganda, laughing at the honking sounds of the wildebeest in the Great Migration and frolicking in the sea off the skeleton coast in Namibia.
