Mark Rodgers (Owner @Dalriada Kingdom Tours)
My name is Mark Rodgers and I am a Guide and a storyteller with a deep love for my country and its people. I come from a family that has lived on the Causeway shoreline since 1588.
In more recent times we have guided on the Causeway for nearly 130 years. I am the third generation of my family to guide and I regard it as a way of life rather than an occupation.
I believe Ireland is a gift to the world and at the beating heart of that gift is the Irish people. They have an old-world charm that welcomes you and an ability to make you feel overwhelmingly that you have come home when you spend time in their company.
I guide to pay homage to the men from our families that did this before me and to continue the legacy of the man who taught me.
William John Purdy was my father in law, my friend and my guide and I miss and love him very much. He was quietly spoken, mischievous by nature and an and an amazing storyteller. He loved the Causeway and his family and friends

Eimear Flanagan (Owner @Away A Wee Walk)
Eimear Flanagan owns and operates 'Away A Wee Walk' – a walking tours company specializing in guiding visitors on scenic hikes along the Causeway Coastal Route, most especially the cliff path hike at the Giant's Causeway and also in the Mourne Mountains. Established in 2013 after walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain, Eimear went full time with her business in 2016, developing a range of publicly bookable guided hikes and forming partnerships with local tourism enterprises. In addition, she is a board member for Ireland's Association for Adventure Tourism and Tour Guides NI. She is passionate about tourism in Northern Ireland and prides herself on helping visitors truly experience the stunning landscapes, rather than simply taking photos from a distance. Prior to launching her business Eimear had spent 15 years working locally and internationally in various sectors. She has a degree in Irish History and Politics from Ulster University, graduating in 1997.
