As we approach the Fall season, we find ourselves navigating our fifth month of the COVID-19 pandemic. For me, I wake up each day, hoping to find the past five months a bad dream. Many of us are trying to guard against apathy and keep ourselves motivated, but, some days, we are finding it is not easy. With the help of colleagues, fellow advisors, vendors, industry affiliations, and The Travel Society Community, we trust you are finding support and ideas for ways to stay engaged. For many, there is hope for our travel industry as we continue to maintain contact with our current clients and are beginning to see new clients emerge. For some, marketing is offering additional opportunities to find business. It is essential to stay engaged with those in the travel industry, attend virtual seminars and conferences, tune-in to the many communication forums The Travel Society offers, and continue to reach out to your clients – if only to “check-in” on them and their families.
